Beginning Needlepoint Class with Lizzy Claire Designs

The project in this class is designed to be finished as a 4" round ornament. You will learn to use a template to "frame" your canvas during the class. Complete your canvas after the class, and sign up now* for our 4" Round Needlepoint Finishing Class on October 24th from 10:00-12:30 so you can self-finish your ornament!

*This finishing class is expected to fill up fast, so we recommend registering for it at the same time as this class.

Cathey is a local needlepoint canvas designer from right here in our area. She will be bringing a trunk show with her so you can shop for your next project that day. Because let's be honest, after you take her class, you will be addicted before you ever step out of the store. We also have her canvases available in our store!

CLASS OVERVIEW: Learn the fundamentals of needlepoint in this welcoming 2-hour beginner class. Perfect for those new to the craft, you'll learn about the basic history of needlepoint, experience threading technique, and practice 2 basic stitches before jumping into your first small project. Our instructor will guide you through the basics of material selection and help you build confidence through hands-on practice. No Experience needed! Just bring your curiosity and leave with the knowledge to complete your first piece and the skills to continue stitching at home.
